The first available ophthalmic appointment at Mosta health centre, which also serves the residents of Birkirkara and Mosta, is in September next year, Health Minister Joseph Cassar has disclosed in Parliament.

The first available appointment is April next year for those who use Qormi health centre.

Gzira health centre users are the luckiest – they can be given an appointment for April this year while those in Floriana can expect an appointment in October.

Dr Cassar emergency cases get earlier appointments.
