Can anyone please shed some light on what's going on at Mepa? It has now been over two weeks that its workers have been on a sit-in strike.

We, like many others, wish to apply for a compliance certificate and each day we phone Mepa to check if this industrial action is still going on. Each day the receptionist answers the phone to notify us that this action is still on.

It seems that no one is doing anything about this situation and we humble citizens have to bear the consequences. Can anyone authorised to do so let us citizens know what's going on? And how long we are going to have to wait to apply for this certificate, which is also keeping us from submitting our application for new electricity services?
