Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Malta is hold-ing a workshop on 'Working with Erotic Transference and Counter-Transference: Gender and Sexuality in Psychotherapy'.

It will be led by Joy Schaverien, a Jungian analyst from the British Association of Psychotherapy, UK, and will be held at the Dolmen Hotel, Qawra, on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m .

The workshop will explore the meaning of erotic transference and counter-transference in psychotherapy, understand its absence and presence in the therapeutic relationship and reflect on its implications in gender, sexuality and sexual orientation.

This workshop is open to counsellors, psychologists, psychotherapists, social workers, doctors, psychiatric nurses and students in advanced stages of training. It covers 12 CPD hours.
