During the recent AGM, Mark de Marco was elected President of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Ass-ociation (AOPA) Malta.
The other elected members of the committee are: Ivan Gatt (vice-president), Charles Galea (secretary), Stephen Vella (treasurer), Pierre Travers-Tauss (technical officer), John Grech (PRO) and Luke Abdilla, Trevor Darmanin and Patrick Fenech as board members.
AOPA Malta represents the majority of aircraft owners of micro-lights, single-engine and twin-engine aircraft and over 50 pilots with licenses varying from commercial to private licenses and student pilots who have flown solo.
AOPA Malta is an affiliated member of International AOPA USA and AOPA Europe.
