ABDILLA. On February 7, at Mater Dei Hospital, to Jessica née Gatt and Roberto, God's precious gift of a son - MATTHEW, a most welcome brother to Rebecca. Deo gratias et Mariae. Thank you to all the staff at the maternity ward.

MICALLEF. On February 22, at Mater Dei Hospital, to Louise née Xuereb and Hermann, God's precious gift of a daughter - REBECCA NINA, a most welcome sister to Greta Liesl. Deo gratias et Mariae. Special thanks to midwife Mary Mercieca and to all the maternity staff at the Delivery Suite and Obstetrics 3.

SATARIANO. On February 17, at Mater Dei Hospital, to Vanessa née Mahoney and Marco, God's precious gift of a son - SAM. Special thanks to our midwife Vincienne Brockdorff and the maternity staff at the hospital.

The marriage took place on February 28, 1960, at St Joseph chapel, St Venera. Fr Wistin Azzopardi officiated the ceremony. Congratulations, love and gratitude from your children Stefan and Natalie, Simon and Anabel, Ian and Michelle and your grandchildren Nicole, Andrew, Kurt, Matthias and Pablo.

Obituary

CAMILLERI. On February 26, at Zammit Clapp Hospital, LINO F., aged 78, widower of Laura née Hili, passed peacefully away, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his children Adriana, Stefan and his wife Dawn, and Santina, his grandchildren Niki, Daniela, Stevie, Abi, Jordan and Sophie, his sister Marie Rome Amato Gauci, his sisters-in-law Marie Louise Camilleri, Marylene wife of Paul Galea, his nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.

Mass praesente cadavere will be said tomorrow at 9.15 a.m. at St Julian's parish church, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery. May the Lord grant him eternal rest. The family would like to thank all the staff at St Joseph Ward, Zammit Clapp Hospital and the Renal Unit for their consistent care, support and dedication.

DARMANIN. On February 25, at her residence in Valletta, EVELYN, aged 76, passed peacefully away, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her great loss her sisters Annie, Ines and her husband Maurice Connor, her sister-in-law Myrtle and Lina, her nephews and nieces, Fr Franco Grech, OSA, Marika, Marie, Theresa, Tonio, Ian, Aldo, Edmond and their spouses, other relatives and friends.

The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 9 a.m. for St Augustine parish church, Valletta, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9.30 a.m., followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

FALZON. On February 27, at Mater Dei Hospital, CATHERINE, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Paul, her children Rita, Josephine, Kenneth and his wife Josette, her grandchildren Shalane, Talisa, Maria Pia and Natanael, her sister Carmen, in-laws and their families, other relatives and friends.

The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 3 p.m. for St Catherine's parish church, Żejtun, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 3.30 p.m. followed by interment at St Gregory cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to the Sisters of the Sacred Heart in Żejtun will be appreciated. Lord grant her eternal rest.

FALZON. On February 21, at Mater Dei Hospital, GIOVANNA, aged 73, widow of Neriku, passed peacefully away, surrounded by her family, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Eddie and his wife Lorraine, Andrew and his wife Liliana, residing in the USA, Pauline and her husband Godwin Camilleri and Maria, her grandchildren Neil, Wayne and his fiancée Christiana, Kyle, Francesca, Robert, Luca, Erica and Enrico, her brothers and sisters, in-laws, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.

The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Tuesday at 1.30 p.m. for Mosta parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be celebrated at 2 p.m. No flowers by request but donations to the Malta Hospice Movement, Balzan, will be greatly appreciated. Respected and loved in life, she will be treasured in our hearts forever. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
