Cafe Jubilee opens in Budapest

Cafe Jubilee Budapest was officially inaugurated yesterday during a launch event for 300 guests.

This fourth Cafe Jubilee is the brand's first venture overseas and is located in the heart of the Hungarian capital.

The 500-square metre property boasts 100 covers and is a joint venture between Corinthia Group and Jubilee Group of Companies.

The bistro cafe was declared open in a short ceremony by Corinthia Group chairman Alfred Pisani and Jubilee Group of Companies chief executive officer Alex Scicluna.

The event was covered by Hungary's TV2 and the local gastro press.

Guests included Budapest-based executives from global corporations, professionals, and local sportsmen.

Executives from the Corinthia Group management team, Cafe Jubilee directors, members of the Scicluna family and close friends flew to Budapest for the event.

"Cafe Jubilee Budapest is the result of sheer hard work and determination. Our dream to take Cafe Jubilee overseas has finally been realised," Mr Scicluna said.
