HSBC chosen best trade finance bank in Malta
Global Finance magazine has named HSBC Bank Malta as best trade finance bank in Malta for 2010.
HSBC has also been voted world’s best trade financial provider 2010 for its UK and Hong Kong operations.
Global Finance magazine named the best trade finance providers by category in a survey carried in this month's issue. Global Finance editors, with input from industry analysts, corporate executives and technology experts, selected the best trade finance providers in 71 countries. Criteria for choosing the winners included transaction volume, scope of global coverage, customer service, competitive pricing and innovative technologies.
Each year Global Finance selects the best financial institutions around the world. These awards have become a recognised and trusted standard of excellence.
HSBC Malta CEO Alan Richards said: “We have worked hard to support our customers and the local economy during the challenging economic crises of the last 18 months, and we are delighted to see this publicly recognised through the award of best trade finance bank in Malta.”

Dear wise guys... you should note that HSBC employees start working at 8:00am You should appreciate that some of these emloyees open the ATMs and fill them up with money each day and deposits are collected every morning. It is understandable that for some time these ATMs are kept offline.

You are so right!!! There was a time when from 3 ATMs in Valletta not 1 was working ... and not for 1 day but for weeks.

They certainly don't deserve any awards for the amount of times their ATMs are offline especially during peak morning times at 8am
