Work has started on the construction of a 12-storey tower on the Marsalforn seafront that will house 150 apartments.

Vista Point is a €22 million project that the owners, Trends Development, describe as "not just another block of apartments but a certain 'way of life' concept".

All apartments will share public areas including a promenade and landscaped gardens. The complex will also house a supermarket, a gym, a spa and coffee shops.

"We are aiming to achieve a very high level of lifestyle quality for owners of these prestigious properties," said company director Manuel Alexander Farrugia.
