Resurfacing works along part of The Strand in Sliema, between Square Deal and Zara, started yesterday and will continue today, just a couple of months after the stretch had been asphalted. Residents complained that the previous work was shoddy and gaping potholes had reappeared in a matter of days. Questions sent to Transport Malta remained unanswered.
