Woman arraigned over Zurrieq stabbing

Mandy Polidano, 22 of Zurrieq, was placed under house arrest today after being accused in court with the stabbing of her boyfriend in an incident last Saturday.

She was accused of having attempted to kill or seriously injure Antoine Borg, causing him serious injury.

The woman pleaded not guilty and was placed under house arrest against a personal guarantee of €5,000.

The court was told that Mr Borg had forgiven her for her action. The stabbing followed an argument which started when the woman asked her boyfriend to bathe because the bedsheets were clean.
