Grants were recently awarded to a number of students who applied to have costs related to their academic studies incurred in the first semester to be subsidised under the Student Opportunity Fund.

Applications for expenses to be incurred during the second semester will be received until March 5. Applications are available from the University Students Council office and from the website www.ksu. org.mt..

The aim of the fund is to enable students to attend local or international conferences or seminars specifically related to their course and their area of study or to help them purchase expensive material not covered by the student maintenance grant or smart card.
