• The St Venera Scout Group (formerly Mt Carmel College Scout Group) will be holding a reunion to celebrate its 35th anniversary. • The Mission Fund is holding a clearance sale at the Taurus Centre (ex-Albert Tours) Valley Road, Birkirkara, from tomorrow till Friday between 9.30 a.m. and noon.

• The St Joseph School Past Pupils' Association (Sliema) is holding a morning retreat at the Preluna Hotel on Saturday at 9.30 a.m. A meditation and celebration of the Eucharist by Fr Christopher Caruana, OP, will be followed by a buffet lunch. • Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat Malta will be holding a 'Peace Conference', at the Grand Hotel Excelsior, Floriana, on Saturday at 6.30 p.m. Speakers include President Emeritus Guido de Marco, Rabbi Richer Herbert, Fr Hector Scerri, head of the Department of Dogmatic Theology at the University of Malta, and Abdullah Wagishauser, president, Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat Germany.
