FIFA referee Esther Azzopardi has just been appointed to officiate in the Cyprus Women's Cup 2010 which is hosted by the football associations of Scotland, the Netherlands and England, with matches programmed in Larnaca and Nicosia.
The competition kicks off on Wednesday with the finals to be played on March 3.
The participating teams are Italy, Scotland, New Zealand and the Netherlands in Group One, and Canada, England, South Africa and Switzerland in Group Two.
During the tournament, Azzopardi will be joined by seven other referees from the Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia, Republic of Ireland, Romania, Germany and Italy.
The officiating team will also consist of eight assistant referees from Italy, Greece, Romania, the Netherlands, Spain, France and two from Sweden.
