Two arrests made following cocaine find
A Nigerian and his Maltese wife have been arrested following a find of close to half a kilo of cocaine yesterday afternoon.
The police said the find was made following weeks of observations and investigations which led to the police searching the couple's apartment in Zurrieq.
The drug, in 48 capsules, was hidden in the kitchen cupboard.
Both the Nigerian and his wife are 27.
Duty magistrate Joseph Apap Bologna appointed experts to help in an inquiry.

People need to understand that whoever does these things is up to the individual and nobody should judge all nigerians or any other foregn national on what somebody else has done. Like all nations there are good and bad and that includes Malta. I am married to a Nigerian for 7 years now and he is the BEST man I ever met.

J farrugia,
Unknown too you maybe, probably not unknown to the lady in question. Naturally its all thye foreigners fault, do maltese, generally speaking, not engage in this sort of behaviour?

I hope that they are well past their middle age by the time they finish their imprisonment by which time hopefully they could be deported.

S Mallia,
So the blame lies squarely with the foreign national, not with the Maltese?

I have no mercy for these types of Maltese women who prefer to marry unknown foreigners.
