One would not be blamed if yesterday was mistaken for a fine spring day as the Met Office recorded the second highest temperature for a February. The maximum temperature at Malta International Airport reached 24.1˚C, not far below the highest ever recorded for the month - 26.7˚C on February 18, 1960. Similar conditions are expected today, albeit with some cloud.
