It is indeed disappointing for columnist Austin Sammut to refer to the growing members of Joseph Muscat's new movement as failed Nationalists. It is perhaps more accurate to say the PN is failing, not only in relation to running Malta and Gozo properly but also in attracting new blood even to the split Cabinet as the news of the same old Cabinet reshuffle testifies.

Additionally, Dr Muscat's movement is about attracting all Maltese and Gozitans of goodwill with the capacity, energy, intelligence and drive to run this country as it finally deserves to be run.

Labels of disparagement like failed Nationalists are really old hat, just like the PN, and its apologists.
