24-hour Rosary Chain
The 24-hour Rosary Chain function to commemorate the first manifestation (January 23, 2006) of phenomena that appeared on a statue of the Immaculate Conception in connection with the alleged apparitions of Our Lady at Borġ in-Nadur, Birżebbuġa, held on January 23, 2010, was truly a successful event.
All the rosaries were intended for the conversion of the world, peace in the world, holiness of priests and families.
We wish to thank all those who contributed to the success of this event. In particular, all those who shared this experience with us, new visitors, visitors who came more than once during the day and night, visitors who recited four and many more rosaries, those who joined us in spirit, both in Malta and abroad, those who distributed flyers and not least the media to whose intentions we heartily dedicated the midday function.
The 3 p.m. rosary was offered for the discernment of the Church on these phenomena and apparitions.
It was recited and concluded in a truly faithful and spiritual way. We carried on praying well after midnight.
To conclude, we asked a priest who was praying with us at the time to give us a blessing. May God bless all readers and may Mary Our Mother protect us.
Another Rosary Chain function will be held this month, details of which will be made known later.

@ Kenneth: Stupid and sad is s/he who does not believe in God. But I do not believe in Bible-huggers and those who go out in public with ashes on their faces. Christ teaches us to pray, far away from prying eyes and away from the public gaze!

@ Franco Farrugia:
That the "devil" can quote scripture is inconsequential. The question is, does the quote make sense? If one assumes an omnipotent and omniscient God, it does.

Even the Devil knows how to quote the Bible, inside out!

"When you pray, don't babble on and on as people of other religions do. They think their prayers are answered only by repeating their words again and again. Don't be like them, because your Father knows exactly what you need even before you ask him! Matthew 6:7-8
Wasn't Jesus clear enough? Do we possibly think that by repeating the same prayer a thousand times in a day, we will convince God to answer our prayers?
Also, didn't Jesus tell us, ""I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." So why are many praying to Mary instead to the only mediator, Jesus the Son of God?
Why are we ignoring His teachings?

New Testament Mary says that she was Not Sinless:
because she also needed a Saviour – (Luke 1:46-17),
like all Christians – (John 8:7; Romans 3:4-23; Romans 5:12-18; 2 Corinthians 5:14-15; Galatians 3:22; Ephesians 2:1-5; Colossina 2:13; Hebrews 2:9; 1 John 1:8-10; 1 John 5:19;)
to save her from her sins - (Matthew 1:21;Luke 1:77; Luke 7:48-50; Luke 19:10; Acts 5:31; 1 Timothy 1:15; 1 Timothy 4:10;)
because only Jesus was sinless – (John 8:46; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Hebrews 4:15; Hebrews 7:26; 1 Peter 1:19; 1 Peter 2:22; 1 John 3:5)
Stephen was full of grace (Acts 6:8), but no one says that this means that he was also sinless.
God not Mary, is also our mother ... (Isaiah 66:13; Matthew 23:37; Luke 13:34).
