Sermon on St Paul
I would like to congratulate the Archpriest of Xagħra in Gozo, Rev. Karm Refalo, for the high-quality explanation of St Paul's Shipwreck during Mass. Somebody should translate this sermon and send it to the Pope, who would surely appreciate it.
Malta must be proud that its name is mentioned in the Bible. The Maltese inherited a religion by God's providence.
We helped the foreigner St Paul and charity was a virtue about which he used to preach. We must work harder to reduce poverty in Malta. Let us work for the common good.

This is what Paul had to say about women in his letter to Timothy:
A woman should learn in quietness and full submission.
do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man; she must be silent.
For Adam was formed first, then Eve.
And Adam was not the one deceived; it was the woman who was deceived and became a sinner.
But women will be saved through childbearing.
Reach your own conclusions.

That is correct, Mr. Agius. Beautifully from the depth of one's heart. Let us help the poor. Let us help those who have a right to be helped. Not exactly robbing Paul to pay Peter, mind! But we must not waste resources on people of dubious claims, especially when they bite the hands that feeds them. Charity begins at home and all that. As for the translation of the Pauline legend/sermon to give to the pope - you are in time to translate it into whichever languages he speaks and when he comes visiting, hand it to him in a nice, clean envelope. There will be photo-shoots and you'll go down in history. And St. Paul would be well pleased with you too.
