What!? 23Eur for just the Premier League and Serie A? I'm not interested in rugby and athletics! I only watch football, basketball and wrestling! And with Melita i watch the Bundesliga, La Liga, CHAMPIONS LEAGUE, EUROPA LEAGUE, NBA, WWE and much much more for the same price! Come July i'll have to look at the satellite market!

Why is everybody grumbling ?
I feel that Go have, unequivocally and unhypocritically, shown us how monopolies treat the consumer !
They know quite well that Maltese consumers are Maltese gemgem, and will never boycott them, or any other monopoly, for that matter.
And all Malta beware ! Exclusivity is anathema to the Acquis communitaire !

For a cheaper price I have aljazeera card which shows Italian , Scottish, Spanish, Dutch, French leagues, all Champions league (all matches), F A Cup and all National Matches including World Cup. For Premier League there is always the internet. Thanks GO but NO THANKS!!!!!!!

With Melita it is the same , you can only see Sports on 1TV , if you wish to see on 2 TV's you have to pay Double. They are not that Stupid to give you the service on 2 TV's or else everyone will be selling there second one to family members etc. With Go it would be even easier as you don't need a Tech to install the Cable from the Dist Box , just a small Aerial and ready.

One can always spend Eur300 and go and watch a game live in England. Can't beat that!!
@G Buttigieg... don't place your bet on any judgement. Sports content is akin to Intellectual Property. Just like you can't force a studio to share a movie, the premier league decides who get to transmit its games. You don't like it? Don't pay, don't watch. Simple.

With all the technology that we have nowadays one has to take all 6 channels. Cannot one buy the rights only for his favorite team/s?? Doesn't look good at all! 22.99 Euros to view it only on one TV Set? All that happened was the switching of sides from Melita to GO... No thanks I'm avid Juventus fan but will not succumb to the offer!

Thanks but no thanks GO! I was expecting a breath of fresh air but all I see is the same old hot air that I saw with Melita!!! The only good thing about this sports package is that pretty lady wearing the kit of my beloved club's, Liverpool F.C (second from left... mmmmm).

I was VERY interested until in the terms and conditions section here: http://www.go.com.mt/Default.aspx?ID=1605 I found this: 3. This offer is only available on one (1) TV card within the household. The offer is not transferrable onto other network access card/s. This means that in a household in which a customer pays 2.33/month for an extra card, would NOT be able to watch football on two TV sets at the same time. In other words.... if you want to watch a Manchester Utd game, and another member of your family prefers to watch Liverpool or any other team playing at the same time, it will not be able to watch the same game at the same time. Thanks, but no thanks.

How much will I be charged if I already have the Home Pack silver package? As for the deal I was hoping for something better. Remember that no matches are on in July 2010, part of August 2010 and the whole of June 2011!! I would then be paying EUR22.99 for 2 1/2 months for nothing.

No Thanks GO!!! I will wait and see what the European Court's verdict on sports viewing will be before I make a commitment with you guys, because for sure it is not plain sailing straightforward as this article might suggest, one will have to read the small print over and over again before. We still have till June anyway to make our minds up Cheers!!!
