Hibs play Sicily friendlies

Malta champions Paola Hibs Candy have just been to Sicily where they played friendly matches against Catania sides Team Volley and PGS Juvenlia.

This was a useful experience for the Hibs girls as they played three games in all, improving their performance in the second and third games and rounding up their visit to Sicily with a merited win.

In a statement, Paola Hibs Candy said the Sicilians showed great hospitality and were happy to have the Maltese team as their guests, returning the favour for having been here last September.

During the training camp, Hibs also had the opportunity to watch a Serie B team during training and a match from the national league.
