''Minister Giovanna Debono
Ministry for Gozo
Gozo Affairs''
So brief...yet so revealing in a way!
Could the Hon. Prime Minister or Minister Giovanna Debono (or their P.R.staff) explain in some detail what ''Gozo Affairs'' really means, what actual responsibilities it entails? Compared to the long lists of responsibilities the other Ministers / Parliamentary Secretaries need to attend to, Minister Debono's ''list'' certainly looks ridiculously paltry to say the least!
It is about time that the responsibilitiies of the Minister for Gozo be properly explained. Citizens have a right to know what is actually going on n the sister island!
Also is it a fact that the Ministry for Gozo has been said to have far too many government employees? If this is indeed true, WHY is this ongoing financial drain allowed to proceed unchecked?
Political reasons should not precede national considerations.

How can a Prime Minsiter be so weak. How can anyone manage two ministries the size of Education and Social Policy. The weakness shown by Dr Gonzi by not being able to move Mrs Debono to Education from Gozo is typical of this government -- do not do anything. And the people of my age used to complain of Borg Olivier in the sixties. He was speedy gonzales when compared to Lawrence Gonzi.
