It's all fine up to pruning the trees. Do please stop at that and maybe distribute some printed info on the flora and fauna. Good work to the Mtarfa Council.

For heaven's sake, just clean it and keep it a natural habitat. Why do we have to add alien objects to such beauty?

These areas will need constant patrols by wardens. Otherwise the locals will have barbecues, drive in their vehicles/motorbikes, leave rubbish, throw cigarrette ends and generally trash the place.
What kind of maintenance plan is in place or is this a one off clean up and then left for 10 years?
It's a great idea but regular (several times a day) monitoring/patrolling and security must also be part of the plan otherwise it will be a wasted investment.

Good work Mtarfa Local Council. Hidden from view by the trees and lying next to the Bosk is the playground of the local primary school. For too long the Bosk had been a no-go area except for irresponsible hunters firing away and showering lead on the children playing nearby.
