Jackson's doctor pleads not guilty

Michael Jackson's doctor has pleaded not guilty to involuntary manslaughter in the death of the pop star. Dr. Conrad Murray entered his plea in a Los Angeles court just hours after he was charged. The cardiologist, who was with Jackson when he died June 25, could face up to four years in prison if convicted.

In other news, actor Charlie Sheen was charged with three crimes including felony menacing stemming from an assault on his wife Brooke in a heated Christmas Day argument. Sheen was also charged with third-degree assault and criminal mischief. The judge did lift a "no contact" portion of a stay away order that kept the two apart, and the pair left the courthouse together.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are suing the U.K.-based News Of The World newspaper after it published allegations about their relationship. In a story published in January, the paper said the couple would separate and had agreed the division of assets and custody of their children.
