Bird bath

Whoever said pigeons are dirty creatures never met this little bather. The bird takes a dip in a small puddle that gathered on the steps of St John's Co-Cathedral, Valletta, while its feathered friends look on.

Such a beautiful picture! I love birds and animals, and i hate those people who dislike pigeons. they are God's creation and should be loved and cherished!!

well said!!! my 2 rabbits are constantly cleaning themselves and are never dirty or stinky!!

Pigeons love a bath. When I used to breed racers, I left a bath out for them every day, no matter how cold the weather was. The vast majority took a bath when returning from their daily exercise. Lovely picture Mr. Borg.
