Melita adds four new TV channels

Melita has added four TV channels as part of its plans to double its channel line-up this year. All Melita Digital TV customers will be able to enjoy the new channels at no extra cost throughout February. The new channels will be available in the appropriate tiers as from March 1.

Food Network and Body in Balance TV is available to XL package subscribers. Wedding TV and Luxe TV is available to L and XL package subscribers.

Food Network regularly features top personalities like Rachel Ray, Tyler Florence and Giada de Laurentis. Wedding TV is well known for reality show-style programmes, including Marrying Elvis, WAG's World and Celebrity Brides Unveiled. Body in Balance TV won Best Lifestyle Channel of 2009 and offers an accessible approach to a healthy lifestyle, including yoga, pilates, meditation, dance and cardio workouts.

Luxe TV is the first channel dedicated to the world of luxury, fine dining, beauty and fashion.

Melita chief executive officer Andrei Torriani said the company was "working on almost doubling our channel line-up, launch high-definition broadcast and move our Hollywood films and series premium offering closer to an on-demand reality".

Over the past weeks, Melita has launched five other new channels, including Investigation Discovery, Jim Jam, Nat Geo Music, Film 24 and Channel 1 Russia.
