Highly successful Global Capital recruitment drive

Global Capital recently held a successful recruitment day at the Corinthia San Ġorġ, St Julian's.

The event was attended by over 100 potential candidates seeking to join the Global Capital sales team. Global Capital director James Blake delivered an introductory talk, while sales career training and development manager Mark Pritchard and branch manager Joe Camilleri conducted the company's induction programme for prospective candidates, underlining the importance that Global Capital attributes to career progression through staff training and mentoring.

Following introductory talks, one-to-one interviews were carried out by Global Capital managers. Candidates were primarily assessed on communication skills, personality and willingness to embark on a sales career.

Throughout the day, refreshments were served and a competition was organised, which encouraged interaction among those present while also creating the opportunity for candidates to get to know each other. To remember the day, attendees received a gift and the competition winner received a digital camera.

"Through these recruitment days we are able to efficiently meet up with all potential employees on a more personal level without the tension associated with a formal interview. We believe prospective candidates can feel more at ease and are able to better present their personality and aspirations without feeling too self-conscious," said Mr Blake.
