TVM's audience reach ranked first in a broadcasting survey for the October-December 2009 period conducted by the Broadcasting Authority.

Among the radio stations, Bay Radio was the most tuned-in radio station followed by Super One and Calypso.

That is exactly why I say and agree with Mr. Camenzuli
The fact is that out of ever 100 payed TV licenses only 26 see TVM during peak programs. The silent majority have to stick programs made by those inside the circle of the circle or watch political stations.
I say we are lucky that we have for FREE.

I agree with @ N Lawrence that percentages are worthless. I for one never watch local stations. Also when is this government going to do away with TV licences now that we are paying the service providers for the TV service plus the vat which the government can pass on to TVM.

The percentages are completely meaningless without relating to actual figures, or is it too embarrassing to reveal the reality of how many VIEWERS watch this stuff.

It may come as a surprise to many that Xarabank is not the most watched programme on all the local tv stations. The BA report clearly shows that the most watched programme is F'Salib It-Toroq with 20.605%. Xarabank's share is 20.173%. Dellijiet is 10.351% and L-Evangelisti is 10.720%. Prosit .... and stop harping about Xarabank. It not longer rules the roost.

Quote BA report page 3 " It is also crucial to note that the reach of Bay Radio is more than the reach of both Super One Radio and Calypso Radio counted together"
Well done to Bay Radio with the majority of the audience Listening with 26.6 percent only seconded by Super 1 with 11.9%!...
With 21.9%of the Radio Total Average Audience , therefore re-claiming the first place again by far one asks himself ...In reality, Is there any sign or sight of any other musical vibe?!

So Canale 5 is watched more than Net TV... perhaps Net should consider re-transmitting Canale 5 on their frequency. It can only increase their audience share and perhaps at a lesser cost.

Total agreement with Joe Vella. I try to turn my TV to TVM and but it seems that all there is to watch is aired by WE. Knowing their polital biasing, I have to switch to another station. Example being last night's Bondi plus show. I just watched for a couple of minutes and it was so obvious that it's a totally blue(pn) biased program.

It is a pity that it is not recorded how many people choose to watch cable TV or Satellite TV.
I for one try to follow TVM but each time I get a dose of the 'Blue Eye Boy' with different glasses of Where is Everybody advertisement I turn off and see cable documentaries or programms, at least I have the opportunity to see what is happening around the world rather then programs fit for the imbecile.
