The presence of two MPs on a website ‘We hate Gonzi & PN’ was shameful, as was the PL leadership's silence on the matter, the Moviment Zghazagh Partit Nazzjonalista said today.
The MZPN said in a statement said the PL leadership failed to condemn or disassociate itself from MPs who consciously joined this hate campaign.
"Now that this site has been reported in the media it has changed its name to ‘We disagree with Gonzi and PN’," the MZPN said.
It said that the presence of the two MPs in this group was ample proof that all talk within labour of a new political season and that labour wanted to be a progressive movement with people of different views on board was the usual rhetoric and cheap talk associated with leader Joseph Muscat and the PL.
The movement claimed that, since its inception, the website incited hatred and the presence of the two MPs was unacceptable.
