London's reject bendy buses for Malta?

It was with horror I read in The Daily Mail (January 22), in the business and financial section, that Arriva are hoping to send 60 bendy buses to your wonderful island.

These buses have caused chaos in London and now that Barmy Boris Johnson, the so-called London mayor, has said they must be replaced, are they about to try and flog them to Malta?

As a frequent visitor to Malta for over 30 years I cannot but imagine the trouble this will create.

Valletta bus station, Mosta, even St Julians would be at a complete standstill.

I beg of the Maltese powers-that-be to think long and hard about this venture. We will all need far more than a patron saint, a holy picture and a set of Rosary beads on the buses if this deal is struck.
