Two employees of Gasan Enterprises Ltd - Brian Pace and David Wallbank - were presented awards to mark their 25 years with the company. The event was held during the annual Christmas drinks at the Gasan Approved showroom in Mrieħel. The ceremony was presided over by Gasan Group chairman Joe Gasan.
Mr Pace is a supervisor in the pre-delivery inspection section, responsible for ensuring that vehicles are properly inspected and cleaned in accordance with manufacturer standards before reaching clients.
Mr Wallbank is chief information officer, providing technology vision and leadership in the development and implementation of the group-wide information technology programme.
Mr Gasan said 2009 had been a challenging year due both to the international and local context.
Yet, thanks to everyone's contribution, several notable results have been achieved. He welcomed the 16 new employees who joined the company in 2009 and saluted the late service manager Tommy Bugeja, who passed away suddenly last March.
