Car reported stolen found in sea

A car was found in the sea at Senglea Point on Thursday as its owner was reporting its disappearance at the Cospicua police station.

The green Subaru 600 went missing from Cospicua on Thursday night and its owner reported it stolen at about 9.30 p.m. yesterday when a young man walked in and told the police he had seen a car in the sea.

The police said military divers soon confirmed no one was inside the car.
