Dar tal-Providenza's founder remembered

Bitha Dun Mikiel, at Dar tal-Providenza, was blessed today by Archbishop Paul Cremona in a ceremony which included the participation of residents and students and teachers from the Hamrun Lyceum who helped the project become reality.
Mgr Cremona paid tribute to the founder of the home, Mgr Mikiel Azzopardi who, he said, saw God in every person with a disability, changing the local culture of how one should look at the dignity of these people.
The programme included an animated tableau on the life and work of Dun Mikiel.
