How do I apply for the summer student work phase?

Students may apply to work for one month in summer with a government department or to teach in government-run summer schools.

The placements are usually from mid-July to mid-August, or mid-August to mid-September. Students will be asked which period they would prefer, although it cannot be guaranteed that applicants will be allocated to work in their first preference.

Applications for this scheme may be collected from the KSU office in due course. The date when the applications will be available will be announced on the Students House notice boards.

Completed applications are to be submitted in May.
