Birżebbuġa youth help Haiti

A recent initiative undertaken by youngsters in Birżebbuġa raised €1,462, which was presented to SOS Malta to support children and youth in Haiti.

The initiative, led by Roderick Cachia and Martin Camilleri, involved the Għaqda Mużikali San Pietru fil Ktajen, Soċjeta Filarmonica San Pietro Banda Birżebbuġa, Girl Guides Birżebbuġa, Birżebbuġa St Peter's FC, ZAK Birżebbuġa, Birżebbuġa council and Forum Żgħażagħ Laburisti Birżebbuġa.

SOS Malta is working to ensure that all donations received for Haiti will support children and youth, who Maltese Consul Gerard Wirth said constitute the majority of the Haiti's population.
