Lantern cross

The restored lantern of the dome of Għajnsielem parish church was recently crowned with a wooden cross. Almost two metres high and over a metre wide, the cross is made of teak by Joseph Mallia of Għajnsielem on a design by Innocent Centorino of Żurrieq. The cross was blessed by archpriest Frankie Bajada.
