• Aliens in the Attic will be screened at the Don Bosco Oratory, Victoria, today at 5.30 p.m. Next weekend the weeky film will be screened on Saturday at 5 p.m. instead on Sunday. The film will be The Young Victoria.

• The Legion of Mary (Gozo) will mark its 60th anniversary with a concelebrated Mass by Bishop Nikol Cauchi at Ta' Pinu sanctuary today at 3.30 p.m. The Chorus Urbanus will take part.

• Skola Politika Fortunato Mizzi is holding a public lecture by MEP Simon Busuttil on the Lisbon Treaty at the All Purpose Hall, Tiġrija Palazz, Republic Street, Victoria, on Thursday at 6 p.m. Everyone is welcome.

• The annual general meeting of the Victoria Scout Group will be held at the group's headquarters, Sta Domenica Street, Victoria, on Saturday at 6.30 p.m. The Scout, Venture Scout and Cub Scout of the Year awards will be presented.

• It-Tieġ tas-Sinjura Żeż, a comedy in three acts by Carmel Bajada, will be staged at Għarb parish centre on Saturday and February 5 at 7.15 p.m.

• A joyful celebration for children will be held at the Don Bosco Oratory, Victoria, on Tuesday at 5 p.m. in preparation for the feast of St John Bosco.

• Fr John Bosco Cremona will lead the triduum in honour of the feast of St John Bosco at the Don Bosco Oratory chapel on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 7 p.m. A prayer meeting for youths will be held at the oratory on Friday at 8 p.m. The meeting will be led by Fr Peter Paul Cachia. A youth band will animate the evening.

• A sports festival for children and youths will be held at the oratory on Saturday from 9.30 a.m.
