This event focuses on innovative technologies in the sustainable construction sector (materials, products, processes). It aims to bring together small- and medium-sized enterprises, technological centres and research institutes looking for or offering innovative solutions and products. All actors involved in the process are welcome, in particular those building materials, exterior and interior fittings, technical equipments, passive house technologies, and in heating and cooling technologies. The event will be held in Reims, France.

February 22 - 24, EU External Co-operation in Action: Food & Water Security, Brussels
With ever increasing populations, the availability of food and water is a growing concern for many countries. Overall, this briefing will focus on the EU's response to fluctuating food costs and water shortages in developing countries. The programme will cover aid projects addressing these issues while additionally tackling relevant subjects such as the effect of the global financial situation on the food crisis. Furthermore, topics such as land grabbing will be discussed.

This conference will be inviting researchers and entrepreneurs from North Rhine-Westphalia and all other regions in Europe to find new European research and development partners for Seventh Framework Programme projects. The networking event will be structured in parallel brokerage sessions focusing on three topics: information and communication technology, energy and nano- and production technologies.
