Carlo Mamo today completed his loan move from Marsaxlokk to Birkirkara.

The former Malta left-back has agreed to join the Stripes until the end of the season.

Prior to concluding discussions with Birkirkara, Mamo signed a three-and-a-half year deal with Marsaxlokk, who are currently top of Division One with 16 points from six matches.

Earlier in his career, Mamo enjoyed a positive spell with Birkirkara and was part of the team that won the Premier Leage in season 1999-2000.
