First Division Club Mosta has promised full cooperation after a new case of alleged football corruption surfaced yesterday.

The Net TV programme Replay said yesterday that shortly before the Mosta-Balzan clash, a Balzan player received a phone call whose purpose was corruption. The player refused all offers and reported the case to the club president. A report was also made to the police.

Mosta FC said it had been established that no member of its committee or squad had made such a phone call. It insisted it was against any form of corruption and promised to cooperate in any investigation that was made.
