Young man's sudden death under investigation
Initial results indicate just a "coincidental" relation with the H1N1 vaccine
The health authorities are investigating the unexpected death of a young man who took the swine flu vaccine five days earlier, although initial results indicate just a "coincidental" relation between the two.
The Times reports that Clayton Cachia, 23, died on Wednesday evening at Mater Dei Hospital after he was taken ill from work.
Described by his distraught parents, Joseph and Pauline, as perfectly healthy, Mr Cachia was to be engaged to his girlfriend in two months' time.
The health authorities confirmed that an autopsy was held yesterday and medical tests were ongoing to determine whether the untimely death was related to the vaccine.
"Since the person was injected with the A(H1N1) influenza vaccine five days ago, the case is being followed very closely by the health authorities. From the information collected so far the relation between his death and the vaccine could possibly be coincidental," a spokesman said.
Mr Cachia's sudden death came as a complete surprise to his parents and only sister, Romina.
"He was a healthy six foot four boy," his mother said, adding he took the swine flu vaccine on Saturday after being advised to do so at his work place. Mr Cachia had only just started working as a medical representative with a pharmaceutical company two months earlier.
"I do not know whether his death is linked to the vaccine. Doctors said it was not but I don't know. I don't know. I have not taken the vaccine and will not take it myself," his mother added.
"I am going to die," his grieving father said, pointing out that doctors had taken all the necessary tests and sent them abroad.
"They told us his heart swelled. He took the injection on Saturday... I don't know if it was a reaction to the vaccine," he said.
Mr Cachia was an "exemplary" child who, according to his mother, "brightened up the street" with his charm.
An avid Manchester United supporter, Mr Cachia had left home at 5 a.m. after kissing his mother goodbye. He collapsed at work a few hours later.

If you read carefuly, the article you are referring to does NOT refer to H1N1 vaccination....but to Glaxo's H1N1 vaccine. They did approve Novartis vaccine (which KUMBINAZZJONI is a Swiss company). They subsequently even approved the Glaxo vaccine. The Swiss government has bought 13 million vaccine.
So if Dr Ray Busuttil was to follow the Swiss.....we would all get vaccinated!!!!!

One cannot say if this premature death was due to the vaccination because sometimes the human body is not that straightforward and not everybody is the same.
But I always keep in mind that in this world we are all puppets in a big economy where certain people's priorities are to make billions of dollars for their own pockets(the pharma companies). Do you believe that they care about us? Sorry I do not. With this in mind I dont give a crap about vaccines, I believe if you eat healthy, exercise and keep away from large crowds you should be safer than anything else. Not to mention that this flue is just like any other flue that hits the people every year, I don't know why people are making a big deal about it. I'm not necessarily saying that the vaccine is bad but it will surely benefit someone's pocket. That's a 100% FACT.
I was never infavour of those jabs and will never take them. There wasn't enough tests!! The tests are being made on humans with everyone hoping that everything goes well!!

It is FAR more likely to die in a traffic accident, and I guarantee you that not even 25% of all this propaganda for every one to take the H1N1 vaccine is spent on adverits against traffic accidents.
It is very sad to hear such news and whilst I hope the relatives will come to terms with their loss, I myself wonder who will be responsible IF the death of Mr.Cachia had anything to do with the H1N1 vaccine? Will the Authority issuing the certification of death & autopsy be questioned and investigated? Or will Mr&Mrs.Cachia have to rely on the same people that actually promoted for every one to get injected with the H1N1 vaccine?

Any proof that it's just a coincidence? You ARE drawing conclusions...Do you know something we don't? There is a lot of uncertainty about all this issue. But usually there is no smoke without fire... My opinion is that The H1N1 virus was given so much hype in the media by the 'right' people that countries became so scared that they invested very heavily in a vaccine that is leaving a lot of doubts. However the virus has not hit as hard as predicted. What's the result? A lot of vaccines with a shelf life, but also a lot of doubts. People have seen that the virus is not as dangerous as predicted so they would rather wait and see than risk ignoring the doubts there are in the vaccine's side effects. In teh late 50's or beginning of the 60's a lot of abnormal babies were born to mothers who had used a certain medication during pregnancy. With those doubts in mind people are scared...and you can't blame them.
We know exactly what they are feeling and going through because we just lost a 20 year old healthy son.
We found comfort in the Lord.

Actually all too often, Cardiomyopathy is one of the biggest killers of young people and strikes out of the blue because few youngsters get their heart checked and so not detected.

Unlike many viruses, the influenza vaccine mutates every year. So every year the dead virus inside is changed to the seasonal new one. For the swine flu vaccine, H1N1 vius was put inside. Everything else is the same!!!! Now how can you, by any stretch of imagination, believe that somehow a "dead" H1N1 virus cause any more harm that a live H1N1 virus???

For years if ever I called on my doctor for the seasonal 'flu vaccine around December, I would get carpeted for having left it so late.
"No use coming now. Any jab after October would serve nothing more than a placebo.", he would say.

1) Incorrect. The mortality in Mexico was a bit less than 1% (Lancet. 2009 Nov 11). So if 100,000 Maltese get H1N1 1,000 would die!!!! The mortality changes as the virus mutates, and thank God we seem to be getting a lower mortality.
2)The seasonal influenza usually kills the old and frail or the very young. In H1N1 younger and healthier people were becoming very sick (JAMA. 2009 Nov 4;302(17):1896-902).
For some unexplained reason, many pregnant women died from H1N1 (N Engl J Med. 2010 Jan 7;362(1):27-35.)
So basically Chris: The government ALWAYS recommends those with chronic disease to get the flu jab. BUT, as H1N1 is killing pregnant women, young children, and the occasional healthy individual, everyone is advised to take it......but in the end, its your choice. But please make it an INTELLIGENT CHOICE!!!!

The letter from the Health Protection Agency, the official body that oversees public health, has been leaked to The Mail on Sunday, leading to demands to know why the information has not been given to the public before the vaccination of millions of people, including children, begins.
It tells the neurologists that they must be alert for an increase in a brain disorder called Guillain-Barre Syndrome (GBS), which could be triggered by the vaccine.
GBS attacks the lining of the nerves, causing paralysis and inability to breathe, and can be fatal.

People, last time I read virtually ALL doctors and nurses (real ones with real degrees and not daily mail sources) took the vaccine.

If it is as a consequence of the vaccine then most probably the vaccination will stop for lack of patients. After the vaccination a folder is distributed not before. The general comment is that "if I knew what could be the consequences I will not have accepted to be vaccinated. In my profession I have met several cases of unexplained deaths in young people. Sometimes in August, sometimes in May, and sometimes in October. Naturally any unexplained death in the next few month will be blamed on the vaccine.
With 43 million people vaccined so far, the amounts of death and neurological conditions occuring in the vaccined group have been LESS than the unvaccined population.
Anyone working in neurology will tell you that they meet with numerous serious nerve disorders every week of their life....of course any new case now is blamed on the vaccine!!!
Recently Wolfgang Wodarg - Head of Health at the Council of Europe has made serious allegations regarding the H1N1 vaccine in relation to the pharmaceutical companies. The only difference between this vaccine and the seasonal flu vaccine is the virus, and so carries the same risks, no more NO LESS!
The chances of a healthy person dying from swine flu are MUCH higher then from complications from any vaccine.
Even using Malta as an example, a few hundreds got swine flu and 4 people died including a healthy young man, with several healthy young people in Mater Dei on respirators. Many thousands got vaccinated and so far there is not one shred of evidence that it caused any serious problems other then the media fuelled multitude of self-proclaimed doctors .

I won't be surprised nor shocked IF it is indeed related to the hurried 'short-term global multi-billion dollar deal' of which even the WHO has been made to believe a truth which wasn't, because of influential direct conflicts of interest.
Ironically these saddening stories have now reached the Maltese media as well, at a time when we are being told by our health spokesmen on TV saying that the internet is full of rubbish. But we know where to find the right info & this is checked out with other reliable sources! In 1976 I was only 6 and there was no internet.

Apart from the fact that the unfortunate death of this young man still needs to be clarified and there are too many self-professed doomsday experts out there...just under 13,000 deaths from the swine flu (4 of which are local) should be a strong enough motive to get vaccinated. undobtfully there will be the few odd ones who very sadly will be negatively effected but just like with al medicines. Now just do the math.
The only side effects that have been widely reported with the GSK vaccine are a sore arm at the injection site, and short-lived flu-like symptoms.
So patience until full details of the case are known should be the rule.

I would like to send my condolences to Clayton's family, and girlfriend. This comes from me and all his friends at the MU Club.
We have lost a friend. We are going to miss you Clayton. But I'm sure you are in a better place than we are... May you rest in peace.
I have known Clayton since I was 15-16 and I am now 22. He was one of the best people I had the honour to meet. He cheered everyone around him, he helped everyone that he knew, he wanted to see everyone happy. He was an example to each one of us, he was someone you can count on.
For the past few years, I have not seen him, but my friends did, so he remained close to my heart... It was a shock to learn about this yesterday. I cried myself to sleep. I hoped it was not true.
This morning, me and 4 other people who frequented the Manchester United Club, and who used to spend our time watching the games together, went to the funeral. It was a beautiful mass, and there were a lot of people. It was really sad, that we had to do this kind of reunion at a funeral of one of our friends... It was one of Clayton's wishes to have a reunion of our group... Little did he know, that it had to be his funeral to meet up again.
And by "affected" I mean slightly annoying.
Regarding risks, seems like the virus hasn't evolved into a deadly epidemic like the spanish flu. It takes time to produce the vaccines so the threat is assessed and contingency plans are prepared well before it has potential to explode out of control.
The EU seems inclined to investigate the process that flags potential deadly flu outbreaks as after the avian flu scare, this was an extra burden on governments that could fizzle out to nothing. On the other hand had this outbreak turned out to be as deadly as the spanish flu, whole nations would have ground to a halt and millions dead in a matter of months.

The only thing we're sure of here is that the cause of death is not clear. The authorities have no idea what caused his death. Punto e basta. In science you always start with a hypothesis. It's like a 'punto di partenza'. In this case the hypothesis is that the vaccine is somehow remotely linked to his death. Now it's up to the scientists to prove this hypothesis wrong. It works like that dude in this field!
Until the authorities come out with a clear explanation of his death and prove 100% that his death is not linked to the vaccine, it's better to play it safe. And what do I mean by safe ? By safe I mean postpone this mass vaccination of the least tested vaccine on earth with top secret ingredients.

I feel that this vaccine is just too recent, and not enough studies have been conducted. Most vaccines have various weird ingredients in them, but they have been used for a long time and have been tested.
