SmartCity Malta allocated 2010 budget of €48m
The directors of SmartCity have approved a budget of €48 million for the building of the project this year. They have also drawn up plans to market the project in China, Japan, Korea, Australia and Egypt.
Infrastructure and IT Minister Austin Gatt said in Parliament that a number of applications for development permits have also been submitted to Mepa for the building of various office blocks.
A cursory look at the development works going on at Ricasoli would confirm that everything was on schedule, the minister said.
