The Studenti Demokristjani Maltin has denied that it had published an interview with Normal Lowell, as claimed by Alternattiva Demokratika last Saturday.

AD said it was ironic that while a lot of controversy surrounded the leftist newspaper ir-Realta, whose editor is facing criminal charges, nothing was said about SDM which interviewed Norman Lowell and published his beliefs on the internet.

SDM said that the interview was in no way conducive to the propagation of any of Mr. Lowell's ideas and a decision was taken not to publish the interview in any manner, shape or form.

The interview, SDM said, was uploaded by the Norman Lowell camp much to its surprise.

“Should Prof. (Arnold) Cassola feel the need to pursue this issue, I suggest that he voices his concern to the Euronews team for having aired an interview with Mr Lowell, viewed the world over.
