Labour MP Roderick Galdes in a question to the Prime Minister asked if the revenue from the tickets would fund the building of a footbridge over the bypass.
Dr Gonzi said the ADT applied to Mepa for the building of the footbridge three years ago. It did not appear that Qormi council ever discussed using this revenue for the building of the bridge.
