Reports of an overturned boat off Fomm ir-Rih raised false alarm this afternoon after it was established that the boat was an old wreck and no people were in danger.

An AFM helicopter was scrambled to the area after the overturned boat was reported in rough seas. The boat had arabic wording on it.
