Law firm Dingli and Dingli admits new partners

Dingli and Dingli Law Firm has admitted Suzanne Shaw and Angela Sciberras as new partners, joining managing partner Kevin F. Dingli, Tonio Grech, and Michel Dingli.

Dr Shaw has been practising as an associate within the firm since 1995, the year she graduated from the University of Malta. She furthered her studies at the IMO's International Maritime Law Institute in Malta and graduated LL.M. with distinction in 2004. Dr Shaw is a member of the Malta Maritime Law Association.

Dr Sciberras graduated from the University of Malta in 2002, and has been practicing as an associate within the firm since 2003. A year later, she completed a Masters Degree in Financial Services at the University of Malta and was awarded the Diploma in Taxation by the Malta Institute of Taxation in 2006.

Dr Sciberras is a member of the Institute of Financial Services Practitioners and of the Malta Institute of Taxation. She is also an examiner in the Commercial Law department of the Faculty of Laws at the University of Malta, and holds the office of director and company secretary in several regulated companies.

Dr Shaw's responsibilities will lie chiefly within the firm's established shipping department; Dr Sciberras's within Dingi and Dingli's fledgling corporate and financial services department.

Established in 1982, Dingli and Dingli is especially active in maritime law, corporate law, taxation, financial services, aviation law, litigation and arbitration, intellectual property law, competition law, residency and property conveyancing.

The firm also functions as the Malta designated office for the International Merchant Marine Registry of Belize, as well as for the Maritime Authority of Jamaica.
