Band Fire selected for international sponsor
Local rock band Fire has been selected by Reverbnation, in partnership with Microsoft, to take part in their sponsored-song programme.
Fire is a no frills rock band which focuses on delivering raw, powerful live performances. The hard rock band has also been a favourite of Maltese rock music lovers since its inception in 1998. Fire's song, Come With Me, featured in the band's latest album Thrill Me, is now available as a free download exclusively from www.reverbna tion.com/playlist7?artist_id=449075.
To download, users must login with their Facebook/Twitter or MySpace accounts.
When users download the song, they will also be casting a vote to the band, which will help them get though to next phase of the competition.
The band is comprised of Kenneth Calleja - vocals, Joe Vella- guitars, Robert Longo - guitars, Charles Cassar - bass, Mark Abela - drums.

This is really great news. This band really deserves this sponsorship as it is one of the bands that is really professionally good.
Both local and foreign fans of Fire look forward to new video releases like 'Thrill Me'.

Prosit guys! This is another proof showing that Maltese rockers take music seriously and they are doing it very well. Altough we see foreigners appreciate local rock and metal scene, it is still being ignored by most of Malta's radio stations which prefer to play rubbish than good quality music.This scene is all about quality not quantity .Rock music is passion,rock music is art,rock music is life !!
