BONELLO. On January 7, LAWRENCE, aged 73, of Attard, passed away peacefully at Mater Dei Hospital comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Lina, his son Dr Marc Bonello and his wife Tanya and their son Andrea Marc, his daughter Romina wife of Jerrold Levy residing in New York and their children Zachary, Zara, Aiden and Sebastian, his sisters Marie Louise wife of Dr Philip Saliba and Georgina wife of Philip Wirth, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 8.30 a.m. for the Santa Maria Addolorata chapel (entrance from back) where Mass praesente cadavere will be celebrated at 9 a.m., followed by interment in the family grave. No flowers by request but donations to the Malta Hospice Movement will be greatly appreciated. The family regret that they are unable to receive visitors. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

CARACHI. On January 7, at Karin Grech Hospital, ARTHUR PAUL, of Sliema, aged 90, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his sons and daughers Herbert and his wife Carmen, Silvana and her husband Mario Calleja, Victor and his wife Josette, Jesmond and his wife Lorraine, his grandchildren David, Claude, Erika and her fiancé Jonathan, Jean, Jonathan, Karen, Elsa and Martha, his sisters and their husbands, his in-laws, many other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Karin Grech Hospital tomorrow at 8 a.m. for Sta Luċija parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.30 a.m. followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza would be appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

GALEA. Suddenly, on January 7, Captain WILLIAM GALEA, widower of Mary Melillo, aged 70. He leaves to mourn his loss his children Mark and Nadia, Rachel and Andrew, Andrew and Silvana, his mother Mary, his brother Paul and Christine, his sister Fabiana and David, his grandchildren Adrian, Daniel, Jeffrey, Matthew, Alex, Sarah and Nicholas, his partner Tanya Gera and other relatives, in-laws and friends. Funeral arrangements will be announced shortly.

Requiem Mass

On the eighth anniversary of the passing away of JOAN ANTIDA SCICLUNA, tomorrow's 6.30 a.m. Mass said at the Poor Clares Monastery, St Julians, and the 6.30 p.m. Mass at St Julians parish church will be offered for the repose of her soul.
