Restored water pumps

A total of 18 water pumps (rdieden tar-riħ) have been restored on Gozo with funding from the Ministry for Gozo. The works fell under the government's plans to turn Gozo into an ecological island.

Lovely! I remember being fascinated when I first saw one of these pumps work when I was about 5 years old 25 years ago. Since then, they have all but disappeared.
