Thumbs up Mr. John Scerri. The funny thing is that the Italians gave in to resistance of invasion by other lanuages and are now completely corrupting their language by a barage of English words and we, the proud Maltese, are going back in time and further corrupt our native tongue not only by using English words but now blatantly replacing Maltese by Italian!

Didn't Tourism Parliamentary Secretary Mario de Marco enquire on the whereabouts of the once majestic monument in remembrance of the Sette Giunjo Victims, by the late talented and internationally known sculptor Anton Agius when shown round St. George’s Square ?

Please use REAL MALTESE names..... BELT IMSAHHRA not the usual Italianized words. Tourists will ask what that means and we would promote our language in the process. (still speaking and writing REAL Maltese after being away for 32 years! sorry for the people I left behind who are DILUTING OUR PRECIOUS LANGUAGE FURTHER)

if you really want tourists to come to malta take the example of france and let the clubs in paceville and other clubs around the island to stay open untill 7am!! that is a way of attracting tourists not citta magica!!
