Lands Department employees this morning demolished illegally-built rooms abutting the bastions at San Gwann t-Ghuxa, Cospicua.

The demolition took place after the rooms were emptied of a variety of items. Rabbits and dogs which were kept there were taken away by officials from the Veterinary Service.

The operation was the second in as many days after rooms at Marsamxett were demolished yesterday.
